FCPL Presents “Library Of Trees”

Helping to spread Christmas cheer, the Frankfort Community Public Library is hosting the “Library of Trees” now through January 3. Local organizations have decorated Christmas trees to inspire giving this holiday season. Library patrons can vote for their favorite trees by donating new hats, gloves/mittens, scarves, and non-expired canned and other new, non-perishable food items at the Circulation Desk. Each item donated will help determine this year’s favorite tree. Food items will be taken to the Salvation Army, and clothing items will be placed on the library’s “Giving Tree” during the month of January, available for any member of our community. This event is made possible by these local organizations who artfully decorated the stunning trees: Frankfort Garden Club, Frankfort Quilt Guild, Frankfort Rotary, Genda Funeral Home, Goodwin Funeral Home and the Archer-Weston Funeral and Cremation Center, Healthy Communities of Clinton County, Learning Ladder Daycare at the Clinton County Family YMCA, Salvation Army, Staffing Resources LLC, and the VFW Post 1110.Voting ends December 15.
