Geronimo “Tino” Montalvo, 77, of Frankfort, passed away on December 30, 2024 at his home.  He was born May 14, 1947 in Owosso, MI to Geronimo G. & Tomasa (Alvarado) Montalvo.  He married Linda Culley on December 23, 1966 and she survives

Tino attended St. Mary’s School in Frankfort and lived most of his life in Clinton County.  After retiring from the Lafayette Union and Gill & Son Construction, he then worked at Indiana Packers in Frankfort.  He was a member of the Frankfort Eagles Lodge, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and camping.

Tino is survived by his wife, Linda Montalvo of Frankfort, sons, Jerry (Joyce) Montalvo of Rossville and John (fiancé Alisha King) Montalvo of Frankfort, brother, Steve Montalvo of Floyds, Knob, IN, sister, Solio “Sam” Wertsvaugh of Texas, 5 grandchildren, Jerry Jr, Linda, Alisha, Jennifer and Tyann and 5 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Cindy Montalvo, son, Michale Montalvo, grandchildren, John and Jonathan, sisters, Marylou Lovett, Elaine Hornsby, Dionsia Cornejo, Christina Slaven and Vivy Arellanes, and brother, Robert Montalvo.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Funeral service will begin a 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Father Paul Cochran will officiate.  Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O.
