The Town of Whitestown issued a reminder to the community regarding its medicine collection bin that may be utilized throughout the year to dispose of prescription medicine and other medications outside of the Drug Takeback Days hosted by the Indiana State Police and local organizations.
The medicine collection bin may be utilized to safely dispose of prescriptions, over-the-county medications, vitamins, liquids and patches, and pet medications that are unused or expired to ensure that they are disposed of effectively and efficiently.
The bin may be accepted at the entrance of the Whitestown Municipal Complex at 6210 Veterans Dr. in Whitestown.
