National Ag Day has been set for Tuesday, March 18 with a special event in celebration of Indiana’s Family of Farmers, a coalition of the state’s agriculture commodity organizations, set to kick off at the statehouse.
The National Ag Day “Farm to Capitol” event will be held on the Statehouse Bicentennial Plaza between the statehouse and government centers in Indianapolis from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. where state leaders and their guests may partake in the first celebration of this caliber in honor of National Ag Day by experiencing livestock, tractors, food trucks, ag-related trivia and freshly popped Indiana popcorn for state employees, legislators and guests.
