The Town of Zionsville has announced that at last night’s Park Board meeting, the concept for the Lincoln Park Refresh was officially approved to include a new decorative fountain, fresh plantings and a larger gazebo.
Zionsville Mayor John Stehr commented that the refresh of the park will help continue the growth and beautification of the town for its residents and visitors.
“Lincoln Park is sacred ground,” Stehr said. “Not only is it in the heart of our town, but also the site of one of the most-treasured events in our history. This refresh will make it more open and accessible for our neighbors and visitors to enjoy.”
The project will be advertised for bid with hopes of awarding a construction contract in late summer.
