Diana Carol Elliott, 86, of Frankfort, passed away August 16, 2025 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 17, 1938 in Thompkinsville, KY to Guy H. Smith & Eva Sue (Curtis) Brittain and step-father, Cecil Emery Brittain, who helped raise her. She married Donald P. Elliott on March 31, 1957 and he preceded her in death on May 23, 1989.
Diana attended Kyger Elementary and was a 1956 graduate of Frankfort High School. She retired from the Farmers Bank and had previously worked at Woolsworth, Schultz Market and The Camera Shop. Diana was a member of the New Beginnings Ministry, 56-year member of Eastern Star, Eagles Lodge, former member of the Moose Lodge and was in a Mallory bowling league.
Diana is survived by a daughter, Dana Elliott of Frankfort, sister, Ginger Sandage of Frankfort, and brother, Dale (Deborah) Brittain of Frankfort as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father, spouse, daughters, Dawn Kelley, Carol Diane Elliott and grandson, Joseph Kelley.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Order of Eastern Star service will begin at 4 p.m. and the funeral service will follow the Eastern Star service at the funeral home. Burial at a later date will be in Whiteman Cemetery.
