The Community Foundation Serving Howard, Clinton & Carroll Counties recently awarded the Carroll County Community Center a grant to support the purchase of upgraded fitness equipment. Several of the center’s machines were between 15–20 years old, and the new additions will allow the facility to better maintain its health and wellness programs for residents of all ages.
The investment ensures that the community center can continue offering safe, reliable, and modern equipment to the many individuals and families who rely on its services. From youth programs to senior fitness activities, the enhanced resources will support a wide range of community needs.
The grant was made possible through the Foundation’s Carroll County unrestricted grant pool. For the next two weeks, donations to any unrestricted fund will be matched $2-for-$1, allowing supporters to triple their impact on programs that strengthen local communities.
