The Ole Hickory Days Festival is giving the community a chance to support young participants while helping make next year’s celebration even better.
Community members are invited to vote for their favorite Lil Hickory. The child receiving the most votes in each category will be named the winner, with results announced during the Ole Hickory Days Opening Ceremonies at 5 p.m. by the stage.
Proceeds from the voting will go toward improving and expanding Ole Hickory Days in the future.
This year’s Ole Hickory Days Festival is scheduled for July 31 and August 1, 2026. Organizers encourage everyone to participate in the Lil Hickory voting and come out to enjoy the annual community celebration.
