Helen Joyce Price, 84, of Frankfort passed away August 20, 2026. She was born to Glenn T. and Mabel Bernice (Marks) Dukes in Frankfort on February 8, 1942. Helen married Dan Price on August 17, 1979 in Frankfort, and he survives.
Helen attended Colfax High School and graduated from Thorntown High School in 1959. She worked a number of years at Peter Paul Candy Manufacturing Company which later became Zachary Confections. Helen enjoyed mowing her yard and was always helping other people in kind ways. She also enjoyed arranging flowers and wreaths and she loved to frequent garage sales.
Surviving are: her husband, Dan; daughters, Rhonda Harrison-Hite of Frankfort, Glenda (Mance) Morgan of Yorktown, and Alissa (Toby) Parker of Lebanon; son, Kevin (Cathy) Price of Frankfort; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Mabel Dukes; a sister, Margaret Kressell; a brother, Kenny Dukes; a brother-in-law, Ray Kressell; and a sister-in-law, Jane Dukes.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 24 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St, Frankfort, IN. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Bunnell Cemetery at a later date.
