Barbara Jan McKamey, 69, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born January 28, 1957 in York, Nebraska; a daughter of the late Eugene and Alberta (Pruse) Carty.
In 1986, she married Thomas F. McKamey in Zionsville; he survives.
Barbara worked as a cashier at Marsh for 15 years and later at Kroger for eight years. Barbara was a loving wife and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband, Tom McKamey of Lebanon and two siblings.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by five siblings.
No services will be held at this time. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements.
