Gary Wayne Donoho, 82, of Frankfort passed away on August 28, 2026 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born October 5, 1943 to Gerald Donoho and Anabelle Wheeler in the Clinton County Hospital in Frankfort. He married Susan Marie Boyles in December 1962, and she preceded him in death.
Gary was a 1962 graduate of Frankfort High School. He worked as a truck operator at the Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo, Indiana for 38 years while being a life-long resident of Frankfort. As a young person, Gary played basketball in the UAW league and also participated in a bowling league. In high school, he was a part of the Key Club, the Debate Club, and several other organizations. He enjoyed playing cards, punch boards, dancing, and seeing movies. In his lifetime, Gary was a collector of Indian head spoons, and marbles. He loved attending festivals and frequented Shipshewana. He also loved politics and was a stanch Republican. Gary was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Moose and Mooseheart, and the Eagles. He was a past deacon of the Tabernacle of the Lord Jesus Christ. While at church, Gary enjoyed playing the steele guitar and attending the revivals. He ministered to anyone that he could about the Lord. He enjoyed the company of his friends and family, loving his wife Susie with a rare passion that lasted 59 years.
Surviving are: his daughter, Tracy Sue (John) Howe of Frankfort; his son, David Wayne (Norma Sue) Donoho of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Josh, Mandy, Kenny, Mike, Jeffrey, Sandra, Jessica, Austin, and Tyler; his siblings, Sharon, Connie, Judy, and Richard; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends, including close friends and next door neighbors, Bill and Renae and Tim.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Gerald and Anabelle; his wife, Susie; and ten of his siblings.
Friends may visit Saturday, September 5 from 2-4 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
