Mary June Hubbard, 88, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at her home in Anderson, Indiana. She was born in Oneida, Arkansas on March 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Loren James and Florine Clark (Burns) Lawson.
On December 28, 1958, she married Jack H. Hubbard in Terre Haute. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2001.
June graduated from Terre Haute High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College. She was a devoted homemaker, dedicating many years to caring for her family and raising her children. She began her career as a hairdresser and later worked at WorkOne in Lebanon as a career counselor, where she remained until her retirement.
June’s faith was an important part of her life, and she enjoyed spending time reading her Bible and praying. She also loved gardening, canning, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Angelia G. (Chris) Butler of Fort Wayne, Amandia G. Jeschke of Fortville, and Audreia G. Scott of Newbern, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kyle Hancock, Caleb Stanfield, Elijah (Jill) Stanfield, Erika (Lane) Shephard, Makada Bishop, Benjamin Butler, Bremen Butler, and Tanner Stromatt; several great grandchildren; and brother, Luther (Sharon) Lawson of Wilmington, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Lawson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow services at Rosston Cemetery in Boone County, Indiana.
