FRANKFORT — WILO Radio’s 37th annual Senior Fair took on a new look Wednesday, September 23, moving to a new home at the Frankfort/Clinton County Regional Airport. The change paid off. With 47 booth partners, organizers call it ‘one of the best Senior Fairs in the event’s history.’
- Center Township of Clinton County and Encompass Credit Union presented the event as the title sponsors this year.
Be sure to check out the video, pictures and song Erick Dircks put together as a tribute to this year’s Senior Fair. Who knows, you may be able to see you mom, dad, family, friends and neighbors in this years video!

Seniors from across Clinton, Carroll and Boone Counties filled the Adrian Marks Terminal airport hangar. They visited booths from health care providers, senior service agencies, local government offices and area businesses. Visitors picked up information on Travel, Medicare, home health care, hospice, senior living, legal protections and community resources. Many said the chance to catch up with old friends mattered just as much.
“Wonderful fellowship and opportunity for fun and senior info,” one attendee wrote. “Many thanks for a great day. Enjoyed the music and food.”
A New Venue Wins Praise
The move to the airport was the talk of the day. Attendees and exhibitors often mentioned the extra room, easy parking and smooth flow of visitors. One attendee wrote, “We liked the new location, much more room.” Another said, “Would like to have it here at the airport again next year.”
Booth partners agreed. Several exhibitors said the larger space helped bring in more visitors and gave them more time to talk with seniors one-on-one. One exhibitor admitted having doubts about the new site at first, but said “all the seniors found us.” Others said this was their first year at the fair and that they plan to come back.
Food, Music and Fellowship
Guests started the morning with breakfast from C&R Catering, then had Burgers or Pizza for lunch. Pizza from Frankfort Pizza King was needed because planners ran out of the original lunch menu. Attendees kept praising the food. “The food was very good, enjoyed so much fellowship,” one wrote. “All very good.”
- Free Breakfast Sponsors were Goodwin Funeral Home, Archer-Weston Funeral and Cremation Center and Paradigm Health.
- Free Lunch Sponsors were Day and Genda Funeral Home and Wesley Manor.
- Health Screenings were provided by IU Health Frankfort Hospital, St. Anthony Rehab & Nursing Center and Elara Caring Hospice.
- Imperial Travel provided the Grand Prize Day Trip to Four Winds Casino in Michigan.
- Marc Imboden & The Revelators performed on the DataOne stage.

Marc Imboden & The Revelators performed on the DataOne stage, and several visitors and exhibitors named his music as a highlight. Booth partners also noticed how friendly everyone was. One attendee summed it up: “Everything was very nice and friendly.”
Looking Ahead to Year 38
WILO asked for feedback, and guests offered ideas for next year. Suggestions included a stronger sound system so announcements are easier to hear, more signs pointing to parking, water bottles that are easier to open. Theme ideas included a space or aviation theme to match the airport setting, and one person suggested a service project that seniors could take part in while attending the event.
Most booth partners have already asked to reserved space for the 38th annual WILO Senior Fair in 2027.
WILO and Kaspar Media Group thanks all 47 booth partners, volunteers, the team at the airport, Sheriff Department, Kaspar Media Group team members and every senior who came out to make this year’s fair a success.
