Shirley Ann Brown, 85, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on April 17, 1941; a daughter of the late Oscar B. and Bertie M. (Davis) Barrett.
Shirley graduated from Glenn High School. She worked in housekeeping at Pfizer for 20 years before retiring.
She attended Lebanon Christian Church and credited her faith in God with helping her through many hardships. Shirley loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Rolanda S. Bowen of Brownsburg and Tonya A. (Craig) Wininger of Lebanon; son-in-law, Deepak Gohal of Jamestown; grandchildren, Jessica (Jared) Melvin, Nicole (Andrew) Walski, Brittany Bowen, Priyanka Gohal, and Ambika Gohal; and great grandchildren, Scarlett Melvin and Philomena Walski.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Ronrita S. Gohal and twelve siblings.
No services are planned. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation.
