Attorney General Todd Rokita: Stop Using These Recalled Toys, Furniture, and Appliances Now

Attorney General Todd Rokita is warning Hoosiers to immediately check their homes for the month of Octobers recalled products by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The list includes items found in bedrooms, nurseries, and backyards that pose risks of fire, choking, entrapment, or worse.

“Hoosiers deserve safe, reliable products — not ones that put them at risk because of dangerous defects,” said Attorney General Todd Rokita. “If an item you purchased in October is on the recall list, stop using it immediately and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to keep your household safe.”

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports the following products were recalled in October:

Children’s Toys:

Furniture:

Household Items:

Personal Hygiene:

Outdoor Equipment:

If you believe you recently purchased a recalled product, stop using it, and check its recall notice (linked above for all products). Then follow the notice’s instructions, including where to return the product, how to get the product fixed, how to dispose of the product, how to receive a refund for the product, or what steps must be taken to receive a replacement product.
