Kevin Paul Martin, 64, of Thorntown, Indiana, entered into the Kingdom of God on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was born on June 14, 1959, in Lebanon, along with his twin sister, Karen to the late Lora B. and Marjorie L. (Davidson) Martin.
He attended Dover Elementary and was a graduate of Western Boone High School. Kevin had a passion for making signs and eventually opened his own neon sign business called Hollywood Neon Signs.
After living briefly in Florida and Arizona he returned to Thorntown. Kevin loved his hometown and family. He loved gathering together for fellowship and good food. Kevin was fun to cook for as he would praise your food over and over about how good it was. He had a caring heart and also had a special place in his heart for his dog, Pepper. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include four brothers, Steve (Sherry) Martin, David (Yvonne) Martin, Roger (Bev) Martin, and Larry Joe (Diane) Martin; three sisters, Kim (Mark) Davis, Karen Martin, and Kathy (Jerry) Perdue; brothers-in-law, Dick Hankins and Robert Dean; sister-in-law, Pat Martin; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Martin and Fred Martin; and two sisters, Shirley Hankins and Patty Dean.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Myers and Hunt Mortuary, 116 West Plum Street, in Thorntown. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
