The Town of Zionsville issued a reminder to citizens that the trash and recycling rates for residents who pay their trash bill through the Town
will increase by 36 cents in May.
According to the town, per the town’s contract with Priority, the trash and recycling service, every year for the three-year term of the contract will see an increase on the anniversary date of the contract. This previous year saw the rate at $12.35, this year will increase to $12.71 and next year will see a rate of $13.08 per the stipulations in the contract, and the increases will occur in May for both years.
Regardless of the increase in monthly rate for the trash service, the town will maintain its bulk trash collection for $10 per item and the wastewater flat sewer rate of $44.50.
