The Community Schools of Frankfort Board of School Trustees has announced that the board will meet on Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Education and Administration Center at 2400 E. Wabash St. in Frankfort to host public hearings regarding improvement projects for the elementary schools.
The Board will meet on Oct. 1 to hold a public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support regarding proposed renovations and improvements for Blue Ridge Primary School, Green Meadows Intermediate School, Suncrest Elementary School and other school facilities. The improvements and renovations are expected to consist of HVAC work, roofing, paving and purchases of equipment and technology.
On Oct. 1, the Board will hold a second public hearing to discuss and hear objections and support for the proposed projects before considering the adoption of a resolution to make a preliminary determination to issue bonds to finance the projects.
All community members involved with the corporation are encouraged to attend and participate in the public hearings.
