The IHSAA released the brackets for Sectionals in the 2024 Volleyball State Tournament.
Sectional 54 – Rossville
Rossville will host Bethesda Christian, Carroll, Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Frontier and Traders Point Christian.
At the top of the bracket, Bethesda Christian earns the lone first-round bye, they will take on the winner of Clinton Prairie and Traders Point, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. At the bottom of the bracket, Clinton Central draws the host team Rossville on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. The winner of that match will face the winner of Frontier versus Carroll, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Both second-round matchups are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 with the first at 11 a.m. and the second at 12:30 p.m. The sectional championship is set for the same day at 6 p.m.
Sectional 25 – Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory
Frankfort and Lebanon will play in sectional 25, joining the host team Brebeuf Jesuit along with Crawfordsville, Danville Community, Guerin Catholic and Tri-West Hendricks.
At the top of the bracket, Danville grabs the bye and will await the winner of Lebanon and Tri-West which is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. At the bottom of the bracket, Frankfort will take on the host team Brebeuf Jesuit on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 5:30 p.m. The winner will take on either Crawfordsville or Guerin Catholic, who will play at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17. Both second-round matchups are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 with the first at 11 a.m. and the second at 12:30 p.m. The sectional championship is set for the same day at 6 p.m.
Sectional 37 – Western Boone
Western Boone will play host to Delphi, Benton Central, North Montgomery, Rensselaer Central and Seeger.
The Stars get a first-round bye and will take on the winner of Delphi and North Montgomery, which will be on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. At the bottom of the bracket, Benton Central gets a first-round bye and awaits the winner of Seeger and Rensselaer Central which is scheduled for Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Both second-round matchups are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 with the first at 11 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m. The sectional championship is set for the same day at 6 p.m.
