Runners from Clinton Prairie, Frankfort, Clinton Central, Lebanon and Zionsville all competed in the Cross Country State Finals in Terre Haute on Saturday.
In the girls’ race, Zionsville finished 14th as a team. Megan Race paced the team with a time of 19:31.8.
Lebanon’s Penny Lamerson finished 92nd with a time of 19:14.0
Carmel won the team championship with a score of 76. Mallory Weller of Ft. Wayne Concordia Lutheran was the overall champion, finishing with a time of 17:12.2
In the boy’s race, Frankfort’s Christopher Angeles finished 99th with a time of 16:20.2.
Hayden Kemple from Clinton Prairie finished 122nd with a time of 16:29.9
Clinton Central’s Spencer Dunn finished 148th with a time of 16:37.7.
Zionsville finished 20th as a team, Jack Turnbull finished 28th with a time of 15:41.6.
Bloomington North won the team championship with a score of 105. Sam Quagliaroli of Fishers was the individual winner with a time of 14:46.9, the fastest time ever at LaVern Gibson Championship Course.
