Thorntown Elementary School students were treated to a tour and presentation at the Statehouse yesterday, Wednesday, Nov. 13 with State Senator Brian Buchanan, who represents Boone County, Clinton County and beyond.
During the tour, the students were able to experience the infrastructure of the Statehouse and experience a snippet of the life of the political atmosphere in Indiana. The students were also treated to a tour of the Senate Chamber where they were permitted to ask Buchanan questions regarding the legislative process.
