Mrs. Betty Ann Spencer, 92, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, surrounded by her family at her home in Jamestown, Indiana. She was born February 5, 1931, in Cayuga, Indiana, a daughter of the late Joseph Leonard Spencer and Cecilia (Jeston) Tucker.
On April 17, 1949, she was married to Richard W. Spencer in Jamestown, Indiana. He survives.
Betty had worked for Key Bank as a teller, retiring from there in 1996. She helped at The United Methodist Childrens Home in Lebanon and had spent many years at E&W Pharmacy. Betty was a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family deeply.
Survivors include three children, Mark Spencer (Sherry) of Jamestown, Dianna Baxter (Bruce) of Indianapolis, and Terry Spencer of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Brandon, Travis, T.J., and Harrison; and five great grandchildren, Lincoln, Veda, Iris, Maizey and Liv.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by three brothers and nine sisters.
Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown, Indiana.
