Boone County Under Dense Fog Advisory Until 10 A.M.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 10 a.m. Tuesday for portions of central, east central, north central and west central Indiana, including Boone County.

Hazardous driving conditions are possible due to low visibility, which will fall to around one quarter mile in dense fog. With temperatures below freezing, slick spots may develop on roads.

Besides Boone, other affected areas include Carroll, Clinton, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Henry, Howard, Madison, Montgomery, Parke, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion and Warren.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
