Christmas Comes Early For Hotdog Fans As Frankfort Defeats Sheridan Saturday Night

Saturday night was all about Christmas and winning at Case Arena including mascot “Big Blue” and “Santa Claus” joining the students ( some dressed in their favorite Christmas Pajamas) and excited fans cheering on the hot shooting Hotdogs. The Hotdogs would not be denied and defeated Sheridan Blackhawks 65-49.

Alex Farley exploded with 24 points, Kye Kirby followed with 20, Doug Wood 10, Edwin Wainscott had 9, Lucas Waggoner added 2.

Scoring was not the only exciting part of the game. All Players were great on defense and rebounding. It took a great team effort to pull off the win over Sheridan and good coaching by Coach Scholl and Coach Farley.

Big scare when Kye Kirby went down with an ankle injury and was helped off the floor. A few minutes and wrapped ankle Kirby returned to the game. John Kirby, Kye’s dad said “He is a little tender and is icing it today getting ready for Monday”  when the Hotdogs will be playing (2A Pioneer) at home in the Delphi Classic (Indiana Kitchen Classic). Game time is 7:30.

Sheridan top shooters in the Varsity game were Trent DeCraene with 18 points, and Trey Page adding 14.

Sheridan’s Junior Varsity defeated Frankfort 66-56.

Hotdogs top shooters were Matthew Berry with 23 points, and Landen Stewart adding 13.

Sheridan Top shooters were Brayden Whisman with 19, and Beaelan Bochner adding 18.
