Clinton Prairie Falls To Delphi At Homecoming Game Friday Night

Homecoming at Clinton Prairie Friday night ended with Delphi coming out on top 33-30 in a very good game.

First touchdown was Clinton Prairie getting on the board with a pass from Steven Mackey to Jaycob Wilson 20 yard TD with Diego Moguel’s extra point kick successful.

Second touchdown Steven Mackey took the ball in from 1 yd and Diego’s extra point kick was good. The first quarter ended with Clinton Prairie leading 14-0

In the second quarter Delphi would score followed by Clinton Prairie’s Seth Whitlock running the ball in from 3 years and Diago’s extra point successful and halftime score 21-7.

3rd quarter Delphi and C.P traded touchdowns, a missed extra point by Delphi.

4th quarter CP would score only one more time while Delphi scored and took the lead, Looking like the Gophers could score again with seconds left didn’t happen. – Ending score 33-30. Very exciting game with the normal Clinton Prairie nation Players and fans, as always, Never giving up.

Senior, Steven Mackey Quarter Back for CP went out with shoulder injury and did not return to the game. Freshman QB Gaige Kuzmicz took over as QB.

It was a very physical game with a few minor injuries on both teams.

Halftime was Homecoming King and Queen crowned.
