Dennis L. Coddington Sr. passed away on September 2, 2026 at I.U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN with his family by his side. Dennis was born July 22, 1948 in Frankfort to William Elmer and Barbara Jean (Duncan) Coddington. He married Delores “Dee” Miller in 1999 and she preceded him in passing.
Dennis was a truck driver for twenty years, worked at the railroad for seventeen years and enjoyed handyman work. He was a graduate of Peru High School. Following high school, Dennis served his county with the United States Army where he spent time in Germany.
His passion and joy were spending time with his horses and his family.
Dennis is survived by: his son, Dennis (Amy) Coddington Jr. of Frankfort; daughter, Angel (Mark) Unger of Bunker Hill; step-children, Daniel (Jill) Arnold of New York and Delores (Javier) Perez of Frankfort; grandchildren, Sebastian Coddington (Natalie Pscoya) of Alaska, Abigail Coddington of Frankfort, Marcus (Brittany) Unger of Fort Wayne, Shelby Unger of Bunker Hill, Brittany (Brandon) Ennis of Kokomo, Dan Arnold of New York, Chevy Arnold of New York, Colby Arnold of New York, Donald (Whitney) Collet of Ohio, Joshua Collett of Frankfort, Wesley Strain of Kokomo; great-grandchildren, Lillie, Bryson, Brinley, Olden, and Gavin; and his sister, Vicki Csatari of Crown Point, as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara, and his wife, Dee.
