Donald Stephen “Don” Keller, 88, of Rossville, passed away August 30, 2026, at the home of his sister, Linda Stamper in Battle Ground. He was born May 3, 1938 in Darlington. He was adopted by Henry and Mary Josephine (Peterson) Keller. He married Krenta Louise Arions on July 2, 1960. She preceded him in passing.
Don was a graduate of Delphi High School, class of 1956. He served in the National Guard from 1955 to 1962. He then went on to work at Globe Vaule Corporation where he worked as a supervisor for 40 years until his retirement in 1997. Don was a member of Radnor United Methodist Church for many years. He had an itchy foot and loved traveling the country from a young age with his parents and sister in the 1940’s. This continued the rest of his life. He especially treasured his Harley Davidsons. He made several rides cross country to the west coast and through the Canadian Rockies. He also enjoyed wintering with his wife in Florida during his retirement.
Along with his sister, Don is survived by his nephews, Bob, Joe, and Scott Schnepp; niece Becky (Eric) Mansfield; son-in-law, Randy Keller; and two grandsons, Alex and Jake Smith.
Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Ed Keller.
Graveside service will be held, Monday, September 14, 2026 at 1pm at Hopewell Cemetery in Deer Creek. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel is assisting with the arrangements. The family would like to thank Elara Hospice for the service of comfort and compassion during Don’s long illness. There is not enough praise for those that came each day and attended to Don. The spiritual music that they provided during those dark days was simply extraordinary. And thank you to Milners Nursing home and the great staff there for their care as well.
