Congratulations are in order for the Frankfort High School Marching Band and Color Guard, who delivered a strong performance Saturday at the 2026 Indiana State Fair Band Day, in which they finished 18th, followed by Hamilton Heights in 19th and Western Boone in 20th.
The competition brought together some of the state’s finest high school marching bands for a day filled with music, energy and school pride. Frankfort was one of 34 bands competing in this year’s Indiana State Fair Band Day. Anderson High School Marching Highlanders captured the 2026 championship.
The complete top 16, known as the “Sweet Sixteen,” were:
