Mr. Larry Wayne Mills, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Independence Village of Zionsville West. He was born July 11, 1941, in Lebanon, a son of the late Wayne C. and Eleanor R. (Martin) Mills.
After graduating from Dover High School in 1959, he attended diesel mechanic school before beginning his career at Allison Transmissions. Larry worked as an inspector for many years, retiring in 1993.
Larry attended Park Street Church of Christ. He enjoyed horses, shooting sports, fishing, and motorcycles.
Survivors include his children, Brent (Deanna) Mills and Amy (Jason) Curtis both of Lebanon; grandchildren, Mitchell (Kaitlyn) Mills, Thomas Mills, and Brady Badillo; great granddaughter, Ryder Mills; and brother, Michael (Carol) Mills of Crawfordsville.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Frank” Mills.
Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 noon on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
