Richard Henson Taken Into Custody, Will Face Indiana Charges

Richard Henson has been taken into custody following efforts by the Frankfort Police Department and law enforcement agencies in New Mexico.

Frankfort Police Chief Scott Shoemaker thanked the public for providing tips that assisted investigators in locating Henson. Shoemaker also recognized FPD Detective Eric Booth and the New Mexico State Police for their efforts in quickly apprehending him.

According to the Frankfort Police Department, the victims involved in the case have been notified that Henson is in jail.

Henson will remain in custody while awaiting extradition back to Indiana, where he will face sentencing for the crimes detailed in a public alert issued by the department the previous day.

The Frankfort Police Department thanked the community for its assistance in helping law enforcement locate Henson.
