Steven Randall Lucas, 71, of Frankfort, passed away October 7, 2026 in his home. He was born on June 3, 1955 in Frankfort to Kay and Helen (Knowles) Lucas.
A life-long Frankfort resident, Steve was a 1973 graduate of Frankfort High School and worked for Welty’s Custom Exteriors for 30 years. He was a member of the Frankfort Eagles Lodge and the Frankfort Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and open wheel racing.
Surviving are his sister: Teresa Chestnut, nieces: Andrea Chestnut and Brandy Martinez, along with great-nieces and nephew: Morgan Chestnut, Alex Chestnut, and Lucas Chestnut. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister: Marsha.
There will be a memorial celebration of Steve’s life held 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Frankfort Eagles, 408 North Main Street, Frankfort.
