Witham Hospital Updates Visitor Guidelines

For the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff, as COVID-19 cases increase, Witham will continue to update and revise visitor guidelines based on current CDC and State recommendations. Witham has implemented new visitor guidelines that will go into effect on Monday, August 23. Everyone will be required to wear a face covering at all times and follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines. Appropriate masks must remain in place, ensuring the nose and mouth are covered, or the privilege of visitation will not be honored.

All visitors will be screened at entry points using CDC recommended questions and should be symptom free in the past 48 hours, e.g. no sign of fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea.
