Mildred Irene Clingenpeel, 98, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana on January 17, 1927, one of seven children of the late Wm T. Weitzel and Lucinda Ethel (Smith) Weitzel.

On February 2, 1947, she married Nathan Eugene Clingenpeel, he passed away on July 31, 2002.

Mildred worked various jobs through the years. She enjoyed babysitting and being a nanny the most. Mildred was a faithful member of Household of Love and Faith in Lebanon, Harvestime Fellowship in Jamestown and Rock Church in Lebanon.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great-great grandmother. She enjoyed crafting, reading books, watching old movies and going to church.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth (Mary) Clingenpeel of Lebanon; daughter, Janet Gellenbeck of Lebanon; granddaughter, Amy (Adam) Dickerson of Lebanon; grandson, Aaron Clingenpeel of Texas; great grandchildren, Alexa (fiancé, Bryton Wolfe) Kirby, Taylor (John) Triggol, Brinkley (Caleb) Vickery, Jacob Clingenpeel, Abby Clingenpeel and Jaylee Dickerson; and great-great grandsons, Julian Triggol and Beau Vickery.

In addition to her parents, husband and siblings, Mildred was proceeded in death by two grandsons, Douglas Kirby and Troy Clingenpeel.

Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services. Interment will take place at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
