Kenneth Paul Conklin, 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Monticello, Indiana, on August 12th, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Kenneth (KenDude) was born on September 15th, 1953, in Frankfort, Indiana to the late Charles B, and Janette (Catron) Conklin. Kenneth worked at Eli-Lilly as an insulator his entire career. In his spare time KenDude enjoyed playing his guitar and fishing. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion, Post 75 in Delphi. He loved his family dearly, especially his “Little Girl” Allison and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by children, Allison (Jay Blumling) Conklin of Lafayette, Shannon Caldwell of Frankfort, and Stephanie (Dan) Goodwin of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; former wife, Beth Conklin of Frankfort; sister Patty (Bill) Joiner of Lebanon, Indiana; and granddaughter, Gracie Conklin-Davis who he loved and enjoyed watching her play sports.
