Frankfort Man Arrested For Additional Charges Of Dealing Methamphetamine

The Frankfort Police Department released a message for repeat offenders, especially those involved with dealing substances, following the arrest of a Frankfort man for repeat charges of dealing methamphetamine.

On Jan. 10, Frankfort Police Department officers and narcotics detectives served an arrest warrant for Jason Stephens, 33, who was reportedly wanted for two new counts of dealing methamphetamine, level 3 felonies.

Stephens was reportedly out on bond for an arrest by the narcotics detectives on Sept. 4, 2024, for dealing methamphetamine. Frankfort Police Chief Scott Shoemaker released a statement regarding the additional arrest.

“We are sending a message to those who continue to deal drugs, even after being caught, that we will be relentless in our pursuit to arrest repeat offenders who don’t want rehabilitated,” Shoemaker said. “We will put them back in jail where they belong.”

The Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office filed to revoke bond from the previous case and add a habitual offender status.

The narcotics unit was assisted by narcotics detectives from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police.
