In just over a month, the Thorntown Public Library will once again invite wordsmiths and champion spellers to compete in the annual Adult Spelling Bee set for March 8.
Community members are encouraged to form a team with two of their best spelling friends, family members, coworkers and more to compete for bragging rights against others in the community who are not afraid to crack open a dictionary.
The 2024 champions Team Alphabet Soup have already signed up for the competition to defend their title and Don’t Judge Us will once again aspire to rise to the top. The library is seeking new teams to continue amplifying the stakes for all the returning teams as well.
The competition is set for March 8 at 4:30 p.m., and teams may register by calling the library for more information at 765-436-7348.
