The Humane Society for Boone County has requested proposals from local artists who would be open to the opportunity to help add some charm to the organization’s new mailbox.
The organization stated that currently, the mailbox appears slightly plain, and the organization would like to give the mailbox more personality. The organization is envisioning fun dog and cat-themed artwork, whether it is simple paw prints, an outline of a dog and cat or something more creative.
Those interested in contributing their artistic skills to the project should send a sketch to Kristen at executivedirector@hsforbc.org by April 15.
All submissions will be reviewed, and the chosen artist will be contacted via email on or before April 30.
