Edwin Harrington, 73, of Frankfort, passed away September 2, 2025 in his home surrounded by family. He was born on October 2, 1951 in Nunda, NY to Glenn and Zylphia (Sager) Harrington. He married Brenda Sleight on June 26, 1971 in Oakland, NY and she survives.
Edwin attended Geneseo High School and earned his GED in 1984. He grew up in upstate New York and moved to Frankfort in 1987. He worked as a process engineer for Emerson for 40 years, retiring in 2012. After retiring, he drove a bus for the Clinton County Boys and Girls Club. He was a former member of the Frankfort Moose Lodge. Edwin enjoyed gambling, wineries, breweries, and loved spending time with his family – especially while vacationing.
Surviving along with his wife: Brenda are his children: Kelly (Emily) Harrington of Michigantown, Tricia (David) Wells of Indianapolis, and Tonya (Brandon) Huber of Mulberry, grandchildren: Morgan, Ren, Elise, Averi, Oliver, and Ella, siblings: Robert (Maylee) Harrington of Germany, Glenn Harrington, Jerry (Shirley) Harrington, Ritchie (Joyce) Harrington, Sharon Hooker, Connie Kenney, and Debbie Rice (Steve Hark) all of New York, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Phillip Harrington, Barbara Barnhardt and Sandy Powless.
A Celebration of Edwin’s Life will be held Noon – 5 p.m. on Sunday September 21, 2025 at the Frankfort Eagles Lodge, 408 N. Main Street, Frankfort, Indiana. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
