Kirklin Fire Department Receives Second New Truck

Information provided by The Kirklin Township Trustee

The Kirklin Fire Department has taken delivery of its second new truck, a tanker designed to carry 2,000 gallons of water wherever it is needed to protect the community. With this addition, along with the department’s other recently acquired truck, the fire department now has access to over 4,000 gallons of water for firefighting and emergency response.

The Kirklin Township Trustee expressed gratitude to local taxpayers, saying, “Thank you to the Sugar Creek Township and Kirklin Township taxpayers for your contributions, which made this purchase possible and allow me the privilege of serving our community.”

This new equipment will strengthen the department’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, enhancing safety and protection for all residents of Kirklin and surrounding areas.
