Sara Jean Harpham, 68, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Witham Hospital in Lebanon. Sara was born May 20, 1957, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Thomas K. and Marilyn J. Harding, who preceded her in death.
Sara graduated from Lebanon High School in 1975 and completed her post graduate studies at Butler University.
Sara married Dale L. Harpham in 1986, and they enjoyed life together traveling and on the lake at their home in Martinsville until his death from cancer in 1993. Sara loved music, her family, and of course all of the pets she nurtured throughout the years.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sara was preceded in death by her sister Susan, brother Steve, and nephew Steven.
She is survived by her brother Scott (Karen) Harding of Olathe, KS, nieces Kathryn Harding, Leah (Thomas) Horst, Lauren Harding, and several grand nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation.
