Marilyn Kay Shahan, 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Boone County, Indiana, on April 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Paul and Norma L. (Cory) Shahan.
She graduated from Dover High School and attained her associates degree from Indiana Business College.
Marilyn was executive secretary at Thompson Consumer Electronics (formerly RCA) for 35 years.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, playing Bingo, playing Uno, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Survivors include her sister, Karen Dalton; brothers, Carl Shahan and Joe Shahan; and several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo Shahan, Gene P. Shahan, and Earl D. Shahan.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 South Indianapolis Road, in Whitestown, Indian.
Myers Mortuary has been entrusted with her arrangements.
Memorials may be directed in her memory to charity of the donor’s choice.
