Shonta M. Osborne, 55, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. She was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, on May 13, 1970; a daughter of Cheryl (Jolly) Lancaster and the late Richard Joy.
On June 6, 2002, she married Jeffrey E. Osborne in Boone County, Indiana; he survives.
She earned her QMA at Ivy Tech and worked at Ben Her nursing home in Crawfordsville.
Shonta attended Your Venture Church in Pittsboro, Indiana.
Survivors include her mother, Cheryl Lancaster of Philadelphia, Mississippi; husband, Jeffrey Osborne of Lebanon; children, Alyssa (Jason) Morgan of Thorntown, Tanner Bixler of Lebanon, Gideon (Karlie) Osborne of Lafayette, and Madison (Jerad) Thurnall of Lebanon; three grandchildren; and her brother, Clayton (Laura) Lancaster of Philadelphia, Mississippi.
In addition to her father, Shonta was preceded in death by her brother, Dana Lancaster.
No services will be held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her care.
