Dixie Lee Coffman, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Hartford City, Indiana on June 28, 1953, a daughter of the late John A. Coffman and Mary A. (Bray) French.
Dixie attended Blackford High School.
She was a devoted homemaker who cherished time with her family and playing games. Dixie also loved outdoor activities like fishing and camping, and enjoyed watching wrestling, game shows, and cooking programs.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Powell and Josh (companion, Lashae Penrose) Coffman; grandsons, Troy Powell and Ryan (companion, Ashley Davis) Powell; adopted grandchildren, Bethany Hamilton, John W. Williams, and Jason Maddox; great granddaughter, Amelia Sweazey; sister, Gladys Wolfe; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alicia M. Coffman and siblings, James and John Coffman, and Greta Doty and Beverly Roberts.
No services are planned at this time. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her care.
