Kokomo Police are investigating a burglary that occurred early Monday morning at McGavic Outdoor Power. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:11 a.m. after a male suspect forced entry into the business.
According to police reports, an older model white Chevrolet Malibu was seen entering the parking lot shortly before the break-in. A male subject exited the vehicle, entered the business, and stole three STIHL chainsaws before fleeing the area in the same vehicle.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Kokomo Police Department at (765) 456-7017. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the “Kokomo PD” mobile app available on iOS and Android devices, or by texting TIPKPD followed by your message to 847411.
The Kokomo Police Department reminds the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
