Sunday night at approximately 9:28 p.m., Lebanon Police Department, Lebanon Fire Department, and
Boone County EMS were dispatched to the 900 block of Beverly Drive in Lebanon for a reported structure
collapse.
Upon arrival, officers and emergency personnel discovered that a vehicle had driven completely through
the residence. The vehicle and driver were located in the vacant lot next to the home, where the vehicle had
become stuck on a dirt mound.
The residence was occupied by two people and two dogs at the time of the incident. One occupant was
transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis with injuries. One of the dogs was also injured and was
transported by Lebanon Fire Department Battalion 201 to a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic for lifesaving treatment.
The incident remains under investigation. At this time we have no reason to believe this was a criminal act.
