Carolyn Sue Davis, 77, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born June 9, 1949 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Richard Lee French and Esther Lovine (Dunn) French Tunnell Golden.
On June 23, 1985, she married Jeffery R. Davis in Lebanon; he survives.
A longtime resident of Lebanon, she graduated from Lebanon High School. Carolyn had worked at Hoosier Village as a housekeeper in Indianapolis for 18 years. She was a member of VFW 910 and the Eagles Club Ladies Auxiliary in Lebanon.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Davis; five brothers, Richard (Nancy) French, Tom (Letia) French, Bob French, Jerry French, and Joe French; two sisters, Nancy (Art) Smith and Janie (Todd) Heffer; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles French, Johnny Tunnell, Linda Jones, Deby See, and Brenda Cox.
Private Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements.
