Ruby Ari Guttridge, 2 years old, passed away on August 27, 2026, at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on January 22, 2024, in Austell, Georgia, a daughter of Rebekah Guttridge and Jimmy Meus Polynice.
Ruby enjoyed going to the park, she loved the swings. She loved animals and mimicking their sounds. A social butterfly, she befriended everyone she met. Ruby also loved to dance anytime she heard any kind of music; her body would start moving.
She will be remembered for the joy that she spread to everyone she came in contact with, as well as her sass. Ruby was hilarious and full of so much personality. She was so sweet, she was the absolute cutest and had so much love.
Ruby leaves behind her loving mother and father, Becky and Jimmy; brothers, Aiden Polynice and Jayden Polynice of Lebanon; maternal grandmother, Pamela Decker of Lebanon; paternal grandparents, Saintenis Meus and Yves Polynice of Miami, Florida.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
Memorials may be directed in Ruby’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
