Robert Eugene Donley, 72, passed away early Saturday morning, October 3, 2026, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on November 9, 1953, a son of the late James Earl Donley and Anna Marie (Crews) Hootman.
A lifelong Lebanon resident, Robert attended Lebanon High School and worked as a vendor for Smith Concessions for several years.
He was an avid sports fan and cherished time with family and friends.
Survivors include his sister, Elizabeth “Libby” (Paul) Kays of Lebanon; aunt, Linda Louks of Lebanon; stepsisters, Sharon Mullenberg of California and Diana MacNeil of Washington State; brother, James (Janet) Parker of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Barb Donley of Lebanon; brother-in-Law, Jerry Myers of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Janie Caldwell White of Florida; and special cousins and caregivers, Monica Wines and Danny Wilson both of Lebanon.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three brothers, Mike Donley, Terry Phillippo, and John Maxwell; sisters, Vicki Myers and Pamela Donley; sister-in-law, Karen Phillippo; stepmother, Beverly Donley; and stepfather, Earl Hootman.
No services are planned. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
