Sharon Ann Strong, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born March 18, 1943, in Lebanon, Indiana, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Wilma (Hume) Duff.
On February 19, 1960, she married Edwin Lee Strong in Lebanon. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2021.
Sharon was a devoted homemaker and farm wife who dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She also worked for a short time at Farm Bureau and Home National Bank.
She was a member of Mechanicsburg Christian Church and enjoyed crafting, painting, and collecting pig trinkets.
Survivors include her sons, Rob L. (Alicia) Strong of Lebanon and Scott R. Strong of Whitestown; grandchildren, Nicole Biggs of Kirklin and Jason (Sandy) Strong of Brownsburg; great grandchildren, Henry, Levi and Annabelle Biggs, Ethan, Penny and Luna Strong; and siblings, Mark (Kim) Duff of Lebanon and Linda Gumm of DeSoto, Texas.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, William Lee Duff.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
