A tragic car crash took the life of 54-year-old Sherry Dennis of Indianapolis, after the car she was riding in was t-boned at the intersection of CR 100 South and CR 400 East about 11:20 a.m. Thursday.
Witnesses say Millie Cline, 52, of Indianapolis, was traveling northbound on CR 400 East in her 2005 gray Subaru Legacy, with Dennis, and failed to stop at the intersection. Patricia Greger, 78 of Zionsville was eastbound on CR 100 South in her 2000 gold Chrysler Town and Country and stated Cline’s vehicle pulled out in front of her. Greger, who did not have to stop eastbound, struck Cline’s Subaru on the drivers’ side rear of vehicle.
Cline’s vehicle included 3 passengers:
Teresa Treat, 53, Indianapolis – (front passenger) taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital for chest pain.
Rodney Amonette, 3, Indianapolis – (behind front passenger) taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital for checkout.
Sherry Dennis – (behind driver) extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Patricia Greger was also transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital for leg pain. The Boone County FACT team was called to the scene to investigate and reconstruct.
